Corrupting the Image Series

This exciting series includes the following critical teachings:

Corrupting the Image

The prophecy of Genesis 3:15 states the serpent will one day mix his seed with humanity as a counterfeit of the Messiah. Jesus told us that the last days will be like the days of Noah when fallen angels mixed their seed with humanity. In the Book of Daniel we read that "they" will again mingle with the seed of men. That day of fulfillment is now!

Something ominous is coming upon the world: it is Satan's final effort in the battle to destroy the image that man was created in, which has been raging since the beginning of time. If Satan can destroy "em"the image, then he can avert his own destruction.

"p"This 2-hour power point teaching presentation highlights the main points of the book, Corrupting the Image. A question and answer time takes place after the presentation.

"h2"The Rise of the Nephilim "p"In the days of Noah and afterward, fallen angels fathered hybrid creatures called Nephilim. The genetic mingling of demonic and human could not be tolerated in the days of Noah or when the Israelites came into Canaan. God spoke of giants whose height was like cedar trees, Moses spoke of King Og who was fifteen feet tall!

"p"The mystery of the Nephilim is the key to unlock Jesus' phrase "as it was in the days of Noah, so the coming of the Son of Man will be."

The Genetics of the Mark of the Beast

Why will those who take the mark of the beast not be shown any mercy? Why will men, in the tribulation, seek death but not be able to die?

Could there be a connection between movies like X-Men, Spiderman, Prometheus, and many others depicting a genetic transformation of mankind and Satan's end game?

"p"Douglas Hamp brings a biblical answer to these questions in an exciting and unique way that will leave you spellbound. You will realize the time of the Lord's return is near indeed!

We’re Easy to Find

Starved Rock Lodge is the only lodging facility in beautiful Starved Rock State Park. We’re centrally located Northern Illinois less than 100 miles from Chicago, Bloomington, the Quad Cities and Rockford.

History at the Heart of the Park

The state of Illinois opened Starved Rock State Park to the public in 1911. In 1933, construction began on Starved Rock Lodge and 16 cabins by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Designed by Joseph F. Booten, the Lodge property was added to the National Register of Historic Places in May of 1985. The centerpiece of the Lodge is the Great Hall with its massive, two-sided limestone block fireplace which is the largest in Illinois. The meticulously preserved exterior of the Lodge is constructed of Joliet limestone, unhewn logs, clapboard and wood shingles. The same unhewn logs make up the construction of the 16 cabins set amongst the woods of the property. Despite changes to the property through modernization, the Lodge and cabins still retain the charm and beauty its architect intended.
